Come to the celebration of everything driven, where quirky is okay and rust rules. Just one
simple rule. No trailer queens. From Rat Rods to Hot Rods to Cruisers, Four wheels, Two wheels & Lots of wheels. Contests, Raffles, Vendors, and Live Music and more.

They will be a Swap Meet on both days (18-19) with set up on the 17th after noon.

Proceeds Benefit SPARROW CLUB of Southern Oregon, FOSTER KIDS of Josephine County, and OPERATION RAMBO - Providing Service Dogs for Veterans.

To Show Your Vehicle $10
Pre-registration through Aug. 15th $10 includes 5 tickets for the general raffle plus a “special” ticket for either the handmade quilt or Project ’73 Chevy Squarebody truck give away. After that date vehicles must register at the gate - $15 or $10 and 2 cans of food.

Poker Run $20 – Pre-registration until Aug. 31st. Poker hands may be purchased at the
first stop on the day of event. Starting at Doughnut Land (GP)

SATURDAY – All Activities at Pottsville.
Swap Meet – 9AM – 5PM.
Rev-Up – Noon (for 5 minutes).
Weld-O-Rama.
Kid’s Corral including a coloring contest.
Pin-Up Competition.
Best Beard Contest.
Hula Hoop Contest.
Ladies Lane – Showcasing the Lady-Driven Rides.
Live Music & Great Food.
Trophy Presentations “In Rust We Trust”.
Kid’s Choice Awards – Kids pick their favorite ride and present the owner with an award
they made.
Prize Raffle.
Quilt Raffle – Win a handmade quilt and pillow set.

What is a "Rat Rod?"
A Rat Rod is a custom car with a deliberately worn-down, unfinished appearance, typically lacking paint, showing rust, and made from cheap or cast-off parts.

 Where Does "Rat Rod" Come From?
Rat Rod is a variation of hot rod, a term used for a custom car, usually modified from a classic car, that has been in use since the 1940's. Automotive historians are uncertain of the origin of hot rod. Some claim it's a shortening of hot roadster. Others say rod refers to the engine's camshaft and a hot rod refers to a performance camshaft, or performance engine. In the 1930's, hot rod was also slang for an "armed criminal" or "unruly young man", suggesting a possible connection between fast, flashy cars and hooliganism.
